Patience Is A Virtue

It’s not just a virtue, it is a necessity. We practice it. You should, too. Remember, just because you missed an opportunity, that really does not matter. Don’t chase it. There will be another.

We have our plate full for a reason. We are willing to wait, but at the same time, we have our radar ready. The VIXm is back to the buy side level at 14, it’s just when we strike and take in some long-term 20 call options that matters.

Here are our basic thoughts and what we are looking for, waiting for, to happen. The volatility of the market is what the VIX measures. That means both the downside and the upside. So we’re looking for a “blow-off” top, you know the one where most of the poor traders think the market is going to the moon. At the same time, we are looking for the VIX index to be slightly positive. Put those two things together, and we will pick up a few long-term VIX 20 call options.
