I do not talk or print for my health. I published over the weekend because something became more apparent to me.
Buy Natural Gas
It’s important to everyone. At our last family wedding, a few of the participants, even those in the wedding party, were short Natural Gas. By the way, they’re Democrats. It’s OK to be wrong, but to my surprise, they’re long the commodity today. Gee, what’s changed?
A lot has changed. Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) operations are opening. Alaska may have been known a ‘Seward’s Folly,” but face it, folks, he was right. Right on oil for certain, but now, right on Natural Gas. Even Reuters agrees, and people read Reuters.
I’m not talking about a minor trend change. I’m bringing this up as Trump needs a few different ways to bring trade deficits down while selling our best-known asset. I see this working for everyone, raise the tariff rates, or at least find an equilibrium, and then sell, baby, sell what you drill, baby, drill.
I’m a term sheet buyer on this one. That means contracts, some of them private and direct in nature, extending out three to five years for October to March contracts in Natural Gas. It’s part of the deal Trump is making, and it’s just solid common sense.
I want to marry a lighthouse keeper. How about you? Pretty soon, they are going to be powered by more LNG than ever before. I love every movie Kubrick did. The man had a way of telling a story and delving into the satire behind it. It’s happening again. I see Trump as a Kubrick, just building his strategy from reality. Dr. Strangelove would be thrilled.
