My apologies to start, time is not something I have until later this week. I’m sorry but life gets in the way at times. Forgive me, I should be able to put together my thoughts in a couple of days.
In the interim, it is very important to note that “Jerome Powell’s” rhetoric has turned into reality. Hitting the alleged 2% inflation target before beginning to lower rates is impossible.
What took you so long to speak the truth, Jerome? Hell, you could have just read all I have written over the last year and come up with today’s words. It’s not rocket science. No, it’s common sense but at least the “cat is out of the bag”.
This is very important. It’s not something I’m prepared to formally address in a short amount of time. It creates an investment plan that requires thought. It’s time for me to think about this from top to bottom. I don’t have the time to do that right now but I wanted you to know what he said.
“Should I Stay or Should I Go” was a classic by The Clash. Indecision’s a true function of decision. I’ve been expecting Powell’s decision, especially during an election year. I see more reasons behind his position and some are political. I read and listen to many and suggest you do the same. It’s time to formalize a plan and being patient is critical. I will post first on The Ticker then here when I’m ready. Be well and thanks always.
