I love pinball. The Who was right, illustrating that Tommy had a skill. I remember my law school environment, where the second floor of The Beehive coffee bar had a few pinball machines. One in particular caught my fancy, The Addams Family, where I learned the importance of “greed”. Trust me, it didn’t come from law school, but it’s nice to have the degree. Life has taught me more.
Volume Hits VHC
I’m cautiously optimistic. Volume in this one-time wonder is surging. Was it because of me, or as Ella Fitzgerald broadcasted, was it Memorex? It doesn’t really matter, so I’ll use my usual strategy and protect my gains. I hate losing profits, and this one is not like others found in my wheelhouse.
The Yen Is In Play Again
It’s trading back at the 149.00 level, and that’s an attractive point of entry for me. I’ve been saying this for years, more often than not hitting my goals, but with the Japanese financial monarchy firmly in place, one never knows. If you are going to join me in this trade, 140 short-term and a true long-term target of 125, understand, the financial environment in the House of the Rising Sun is different than the rest of the world. Watch it closely.
You Deserve A Coke Today
With pure cane sugar. Hell, if I’m going to exacerbate my diabetic fate, it’s best to do it with sugar, eh? I’m watching the relationship between the corn and sugar futures. I did step into a couple of naked 15 puts in the sugar market simply because the price was right. I’ll keep watching and hope you will as well. Enjoy a Coke on Buffett.
Ever since I was a young boy, I’ve played the silver ball, just like Tommy. Don’t get me wrong, law school was beneficial, but the only real school I attended, that mattered, was Carnegie-Mellon. Great program, ninety graduates, and an entrepreneurial bend that made most of us famous. I still like pinball and making sure that the silver ball stays on the table. For about a buck, I could play all day. Law school, bah, humbug, I can read so it was easy, and besides, I was almost forty. I learned more from life.
