It’s always nice to begin with a religious thought, but that is where we stand. Like all others, Trump has taken a seasoned approach of “trust but verify”. In the case of just waiting for China to verify its participation in the world of “free trade,” something is missing.
I do not trust China, especially when it comes to providing rare earth minerals to the world, so that its defensive needs are met. It simply does not make sense that China is going to support development as anticipated. It simply makes no sense. In a nutshell, that is what the U.S. powers that be are doing. That’s a good thing and from apparent actions, Trump is ahead of schedule on these criteria, but there’s more.
Regulations Are Cut
I do not understand what the “Biden” administration was thinking during its term in office. Drill baby drill and dig baby dig took a terrible back seat to progress from my perspective. I’m not always right, but within the Trump administration, it seems that these objectives have changed.
One of the most dramatic changes evolved around the regulation curve. Timing has been dramatically reduced when it comes to determining what is under the ground and where the best mineral deposits, of all kinds, can be found. This should provide strong interest in a couple of stocks, but among GEOS, MIND, and TGSGY, I have a favorite, it’s TGSGY.
I’m a conservative investor at heart. I like to ensure that emerging companies show a bit of dividend strength in their model. For that reason, and much more, I’ll stick with TGSGY. It’s an $8 stock that is currently paying almost 7.40% annually. It’s based in Oslo, Norway, but it has a tremendous presence in Houston, Texas. I’ll let you do the rest of your digging on this one yourself, but their operation makes sense to me.
It’s A Family First Sunday
What more can I say? As a matter of fact, over the next four to six weeks, based on the fact that my interests align with recent governmental objectives and actions, time isn’t going to be on my side. What I can relate is going to be “tampered down” to the facts available in the marketplace of rare earth mining companies, but not just what’s being mentioned is important. If there are hundreds of active entities in the rare earth field, more than 90% of them are in the development phase. Keep your eyes and ears open for those that simply make extraction and purification better. It just makes sense.
We all remember one-hit wonders. Zagar and Evans had one of those more than fifty years ago. Its message rings true to this day. Take the time to listen to the lyrics of this song. Were they ahead of their time? Perhaps, but that’s the scenario we’re facing in today’s world. Will man survive? Is AI so much in control that mankind will simply be a latent moniker? I doubt it, but nothing is going to damper progress.
