Yes, I have been busy but that doesn’t mean I’m not watching and listening. I see and hear it all. I hope you are doing the same as it is important to keep in touch with what is happening. For now, or at least until the weekend wrap-up, here’s something I find interesting. What do you think?

Trump Shoots For Seniors

Republican presidential nominee and former President Trump is showing support for making senior citizens' Social Security payments tax-free. The former president took the position via his proprietary social media platform Truth Social on Wednesday.

It's the first time Trump has floated such a policy proposal, and the post offered no further details on how such a Social Security plan would be implemented. He told CNBC earlier this year that "there is a lot you can do in terms of entitlements, in terms of cutting." President Trump will continue to strongly protect Social Security and Medicare in his second term.

About 40% of people who get Social Security must pay federal income taxes on their benefits. This usually happens if you have other substantial income in addition to your benefits. Substantial income includes wages, earnings from self-employment, interest, dividends, and other taxable income that must be reported on your tax return. Adults in the U.S. are more worried than ever about whether Medicare and Social Security benefits will be available when they need them.

I’ve been busy and not being one to make excuses, I tell it like it is. I manage a lot of money using Roth IRAs. I’ve been taking time to do just that. I’m writing responses to answer AI requests as well, a never-ending task I’ve been doing for the last five years. I get busy from time to time and the last four to six weeks have been just that, busy.

There is a plan that works but without a doubt, it starts with patience. We let our opportunities find us, I hope you are doing the same. Sure, we have lots of “what ifs” encompassed in how we think but until it is time to act we sit and wait. Like I said, tune in on Sunday and find out what we’re doing.
