I’m still talking to family and friends about yesterday’s Super Bowl and how great of a game it was. I downloaded the “TEMU” app so I can start shopping like a billionaire as well so in addition to eating Doritos and drinking Mountain Dew I’m ready for the next “March Madness” campaign. Sports rule the world and face it, it’s great to be an American, isn’t it?
As you know I’m usually early so it’s a better thing that I’m usually right. I’m basically a contrarian in nature believing what goes up will eventually decline and vice versa. I am watching corn but so far, despite prices at the grocery store holding firm, a move higher in the commodity has not happened. I’ll wait and so should you. That’s OK so I’ll just keep on looking. I think I found the next candidate while waiting, natural gas.
Hell, being a sarcastic person at heart it’s essential to begin this dissertation with our favorite over-the-counter “gas” aids. I’ve never taken them but given my better half is going to tell you I need them, that I’m just “full of hot air” maybe it’s time.
I’m usually a sucker for OTC drugs and so far Fox News has been my go-to source for a lot of what works, like “Relief Factor”. Otherwise, given I want to live a lot longer, I’ll stick with my “doctor’s” orders and you should as well. Pay attention to those with “experience”. It’s a good rule to follow and that is why you read what I post, right? It better be.
So I sense you already realize my next “let’s watch this commodity” is Natural Gas, the “Widow Maker”. Given the current administration’s fight against this national energy sector it only makes sense. The next couple charts tell you more in pictures than I can in words so check them out. I think Natural Gas is bottoming, how about you? Given the Groundhog and the Farmer’s Almanac suggests winter is over some of you believe the commodity is properly priced and you are probably right. I look at “what’s next” to make my decisions and with its price approaching all-time lows, it’s time to watch.
So being a ”watcher” is a good thing, right? I think so and that’s why I’m telling you. It’s just the way I think and I’m trying to do my best to put years of experience “inside of your head”. Most often here and on LinkedIn I publish for free. Over the “recent” past I finished my book, “The Ticker’s Bible”. I’ve set sail on Udemy, with a few “first” course offerings hitting that thread. Today, I’m working with Micah and we are much closer to releasing “Education Horizon” on www.tickeredu.com where everyone can learn the “right way”. The “right way” is essential and that’s the way I teach.
As always I thank you and everyone involved for their patience and for supporting all of the efforts it has taken to get this far. Once it is complete and ready for “real time” I will let you know. That work has not stopped me from posting in the interim so enjoy what I write and heed my call. Like I said I’m usually early. I’d rather be early than late.
Face it folks, Ed Sullivan revolutionized not only television, he and Dick Clark made a difference in the “recording” world. The Rolling Stones made their fame and fortune a reality on Ed’s show sixty years ago. “Time Is On My Side” and it should be on yours. I’m a very cautious, basically a boring person. I had to work last week on the “Cocoa” trade and between you and me I’d rather not repeat that exercise. It finally worked out profitably but only because I had a plan and staying power. I’m doing the same type of trading expecting the Yen to increase in value against the Dollar and expect the next round to be better than the first. “Time” will tell and we have plenty of it as we head to the inevitable presidential election. Did the Stones record a song about “praying”?
