History Repeats Itself

Just when you think “it will never end” it does.

I do not have time on my hands today but wanted to put out a few thoughts about how I act when the time is right. I’m going to follow this up with a “paid for” article over the weekend but needed to get these two thoughts out today. It’s what I’m doing and you should be too.

Natural Gas

We had a gift on the upside, quite frankly a surprise that almost set me for the winter but I didn’t get a chance to increase the position before it spiked upwards. The good Lord of the “widow maker” gives, then takes, then as we see today gives today.

Gold

History speaks and a run up to the $2,000+ level has to be taken advantage of. With that in mind I’m using a 25 point trailing stop to ensure the wild run we’ve had over the prior weeks does not turn into smoke.

That’s it for now. Biden wants to serve the world. His address to the nation and world last night was his best ever. Two US hostages were just released. Keep watching and listening to the geopolitical world as always, it rules.

Snow White had the right idea with “Someday My Prince Will Come”. While the world continues to spin on an altered axis the fact that two American hostages were freed is a step in the right direction.Albeit a small step it was one taken in the right direction. I do not believe in wars; I believe in words. Let’s see if Biden’s speech had some meaning worldwide. Rome wasn’t built in a day and peace remains illusive but it sure would be nice to “give peace a chance” as sung by the immortal John Lennon.
